Department of Public Recreation

The Department of Public Recreation has the responsibility for maintaining the City of Hazard's tennis and basketball courts, located on Main Street near the Memorial Drive intersection, and next to the Hazard Water Plant, near the Woodland Park bridge. Public Recreation also holds responsibility for the maintenance and care of the city's lawns and greenery. The Department of Public Recreation hosts community basketball tournaments and other events.
